wondering whats the earliest people have gotten them out of the cap
also has anyone heard how it is this year or how its gonna be???
-
It has been very slow , for some reason they have not shown in any numbers yet .... unlike last year this time I already had over 30 of the little guys , but sure is fun hunting them down , also strange no summers yet ...????? maybe everything is late seems to be the normal excuse these days or at least until nothing shows .....then it becomes must be the fish farms , well anyway goodluck ;D

It's probably really late for some of you expert fisherman but I've had luck at the mouth as early as July 1. It was pretty cool too, a nice bright male caught on a homebuilt ridiculously ugly spinner lol

Still early for large numbers but there have certainly been some schools coming in.
Fish the incoming tide, if it times with dawn even better, and stay away from Cable Pool.

Yup, slow. Was out today and nothing and hit a few good spots. The seagulls on the other hand were doing quite well picking off the little fish (fry?). Must have seen 30 get eaten within 10 minutes until they moved on.

Hit it up for a couple of hours yesterday on way back from the ferry and didn't get a sniiff apart from the aggressive smolts! Water looked mint though would probably have been even better first light this morning if you could find them lol.
