Title: Deer Lake (Burnaby), May 16th 2010
Post by: jimmywits on May 16, 2010, 08:49:32 PM
Hey Sports-fans, didn't have allot of time today, so I threw the punt on the roof of the jeep and went to Deer Lake in BBY and landed two nice bows both around 14 inches and really plump fish. What a beautiful day it turned out to be, after the high pressure beat out the low. I was using a green doctor and a green Damsel nymph on sinking lines. Fishing pressure was almost non existent and the kayaks, canoes, paddle boats etc, all had lot's of room and lot's of fun as Deer Lake is a good sized lake and an oasis in the city. ;D

sounds like a good time. have always wanted to try deer lake, but since places like buntzen and the such are closer (and seem to produce a lot more), they always win out ;D

That's true, keep thinking that!
