Title: Echo lake
Post by: Wulff Man on April 11, 2010, 08:16:47 PM
Anyone fished Echo lake before? How about Loon lake near Cache Creek? im thinking about taking the family to one of these two spots for a week in June. Both resorts seem to measure up well, now im just wondering which has a better chance of producing some action for me. Thanks!

Used to fish Loon Lake years ago and the fishing there was awesome...always trolled with a leadcore line set up and a frog hotshot. Fly fishing was good too.

I would check further into Loon as both previous posters state they fished there "years ago".

If you want an opposing opinion, I have a co-worker who goes up every year with her husband during the May long week end. If I recall accurately, the fishing is slow. Long hours trolling in the boat with not great numbers of fish to show for it, on the small side too. They use wedding band and worms.

Was up at Loon last July. VERY hot weather fishing was  good for that time of year 10-14" alll day long trolling. The people at the resorts uip there are some of the freindiest I've met.
