just moved into N Van and wondering if theres any kind of steelhead fishery on the north shore? Thanks.

seymour and capilano have steelhead ,catch and release.contact highwater tackle for updates on numbers.

some in the cap now,not sure about seymour i think it has a summer run and winter.

seymour hatchery only has 3 steelhead for broodstock as of the last time i spoke with someone. Return is low

Best to leave them alone (IMO)
If you do go, keep it to yourself.
I live 1/2 hour from both but haven't fished them in years.
Not for any other reason than they are so fragile and the lack of snow pack this year won't help the water situation much.

seymour has been poor but the capilano has had a decent season so far this year. Look for coho's to start showing up soon.
