Title: Sturgeon....anyone been out yet?

Went out last thursday just west of Stave River with a buddy and one of his friends.  Spent the day out - caught 4 - all progressing in size from a 'pup' to one that as just over 6 foot in length.  ;D

The were all caught using Eulachon (small bait fish).   Soft bites - but once they took it - fish on!

Ivan was out last weekend. They landed a 10lb dolly on an Eulachon and didn't get anything else.

We did get 1 around 4ft and missed a few also.
But was a slow day overall.
But what a nice Dollie!!!

four trips over the last three weeks...... total fish to the boat 58, biggest over 9'...... all on oolies
