Post by: CohoMan on March 22, 2010, 03:52:17 PM
Went out today and fished it for about 2 hours.

The clarity was not the greatest and the water height was okay.

Did not see anyone with fish!!!!!

Fished the Vedder today for the third time this year. First two trips we never touched a fish. The first run my partner rolled a fish on a jig. We fished mid river for about four hours, the water was a little colourd but was clearing as we fished. Surprised to see so few fishermen out. Only saw one other fisherman in our area.  On the way home stopped at a run in the Yarrow area. Started with a Jig switched to a spoon, first cast into a big fish, guessing mid teens. jumped six times, last jump he gave me my spoon back. Great day will try to  fish the river next monday.
