Title: Tidal Fraser River, March 14th 2010
Post by: mykisscrazy on March 14, 2010, 07:36:15 PM
Got sidetracked on my way to Home Depot....
Caught 2 Bull Trout one around 16 inches and one around 12 inches
Caught them on a small fry pattern in about 1 foot of water close to the Bank
Saw a couple others on the surface, but not able to get them to strike
Visibility only about a foot today...not the greatest
Fish I have had on before were all larger than today's
But I'm not complaining!

Very nice, finally. :) What time were you fishing? Poor clarity due to low tide maybe? I originally had gotten ready to fish for a couple of hours but packed everything away when I saw rain. What can I say, hydrophobia. It's going to get better for sure, especially with the good weather they have forecasted for later this week.

Was fishing from around 2:00 to 4:00
Tide was rising, and there was a lot of big boat traffic today
Maybe why visability wasn't the greatest.
Started to rain just as I was taking the waders off.
