So, tied up a few more "modified Patterns" Thought to myself..."I've finally figured it out"
Nothing no Hit's nothing, even tried the pattern that was working to attract fish but not hooking them...but still nothing
Tide was super low, actually had never seen it the low before. It was actually good as it gave me a chance to search out structure and see where the fish will be (could be) holding. All the areas I have had fish previously on were where there were troughs and other drop off's.
Saw my first small schools of Pink Salmon heading downstream...Any day now it's going to be amazing!

Saw my first schools of fry today as well and plenty of them walking along Sapperton Landing in New West with my son. We also saw an otter catch 2 fish which I'm 99% sure were cutthroat.

Ran into someone today who has been flyfishing the shoreline around UBC - wreckbeach. He has had fair fishing there for Bull Trout! Gives one another reason to visit Wreck Beach! ;)
