Yes, I know i will be told to search the forums.....I did, and did not find any specific posts on shrimp.
Just wondering what type of shrimp people use, how the cure them/or do anything to them, and how they present the shrimp.
I was just going to go to a save on foods and grab a bag of the raw grey shrimp.... what are your thoughts...

Go for it, shrimp work great by themselves or on jigs. I thaw mine and then cut them into pieces and wrap them in roe sacks.

Alright, I was also thinking of using a whole one or half and feed the hook through it and put some wool in the bait loop

shrimp is my preferred bait for steelies. i swear by the ghost shrimp but due to laziness have moved to cooking fresh shrimp to simply using shrimp rings from save on. i use spider thread to keep the shrimp on. however on some systems roe seems to work better. i also use a combination of corkies and wool with my shrimp.,

Corkies are little ball shaped, coloured, floating things....lol you run your line through them and help to float your presentation.
Ghost shrimp are well shrimp, some call them bugs. you can dig/pump them from the beach at low tide...they kinda look like miniature lobster cray fish things. But for pictures just google it or go on youtube for videos
