I'm going to try and hit up the Harrison today and then probably move down to the Slough and maybe even the Stave so I will let you know what i spot. I usually don't see them in large numbers in these systems for a little bit yet though (once the fry start emerging).

Unhide your email and i will send you a starting spot or two.

Without a doubt imo you're best chance is the Fraser River. I prefer the north side east of Mission. Don't overlook the backwaters and sloughs from Mission to Hope on either side of the Fraser.

Had one on today when I was at the harrison, nothing showing at the slough when I was there. Things will start to pick up even more soon I'm sure.

I used to do well with small black flies at this time of year up around peg leg when I lived on Fairfield island ( Chilliwack ) years ago.
Best of luck
