Title: Win a 2 night 2 day Sturgeon fishing trip and help fight cancer.
Post by: RA40 on January 21, 2010, 02:54:46 PM: Ride to Conquer Cancer - Would you like to support Vic Carrao of STS Guiding Service in his ride to conquer cancer. Vic and his daughter Deanna will be riding 260 km on June 19/20. Everyone who makes a donation in the name of Vic or Deanna Carrao will be entered to win a weekend sturgeon fishing vacation for 2 at Fraserview Anglers Retreat. Your guides for the day will be Vic and his Daughter Deanna. Our goal is to raise $5000.00, any $$ contribution will be entered to win, no amount is too small. If you have any family members that have passed from Cancer we will be honored to carry their name on our bikes, arms, shirts or anywhere we have room.

David, your donation was very generous, it is much appreciated.

Second day of training, I did 13km yesterday, 1/2 of it was hill climbing, did 20km today. If anything I will be in great shape by June.

Post by: RA40 on January 23, 2010, 12:30:36 PM: We are putting together auction items and having a e-mail/online auction of some sort,no details yet but we have some great auction items already including, high end fly lines,fly rod/reel combo, guided fishing trips, ipods, hoodies, and were building the list. Once we get all the items we will post a list on this site and others. 100% of the money raised will go to the BC Cancer Foundation. Will keep you posted.
