Sorry MC - I'm not that old! (last time I back you, buddy ... lol )  Too bad he isn't around to take care of this mess we have now but even if he was, Ottawa wouldn't listen.

Can't find your email, but in case you haven't heard

Dave Preikshot from Pacific Biological Station called this morning.  Some of you will have already heard the Dr. Dick Beamish suffered a massive heart attack last night.  Dr. Beamish is in a drug-induced coma and the situation will be reassessed on Sunday.  Dave will call here again early next week to give us an update.
 
Dave asked me to pass on the message that those many people who know Dr. Beamish and are concerned about him still please refrain from contacting the family or PBS by phone or e-mail in the meantime.  Instead, please wait to hear the update.

Thanks Andrew, I didn't know.  Wow, another master in fishery research down.  Hope he makes it.
