Decided to head out after noticing the wind stopped howling around 11:00am.
Got to the river around 12:00pm and started fishing around the Lickman area. Spoke to a few guys and none saw or hooked into anything.
I decided to head back to the parking area and started fishing the run below it. Not long after that, a guy walked into the same run but he was across on the other side.
Lo and behold, he got into one almost immediately. I assumed it was a hatch because it was bonked and kept.

A picture of the guy playing the fish( not very clear as it was a bit too far ).

I wish that I had caught that fish as fast as Cohoman has stated. I started that morning off at 9 am and it was 2:30 pm when I hooked it. This was my 5th time out this season and my first fish this year. That fish was just under 8 lbs. What a great feeling to feel that head shake. Looking forward to the next trip.
Cheers

Hi Fishbuster
I was trying to get a video of you fighting the fish but my video-phone did not work so I just snapped a couple of pix.
I got into one today.
Cheers!!
