Title: Cleaning waders

I've never cleaned a pair of waders before, but a few months ago I took a pretty nice tumble down a high bank and got a bunch of dirt/mud in my G3s.  Now every time I wear them I get dirt/mud all over my socks and pants. 
How do you clean your waders? 
Should I just turn them inside out and clean them with some type of soap and water?  What type of soap would you reccomend?
