Headed up to fish the Stave with my buddy about 10:30 this AM. When I arrived at the river we were the only car in the parking lot. Big difference from late October. Started up at the dam and worked our way done to the downstream side of the toilet bowl. Worked the area with wool, spinners and flies for just over two hours. Only had one strike in htat time. Did not see any fish around rolling or jumping. Oh well it was a beautiful day and my first day out on the river since my return from 5 week in Palm springs. Think we will go after some Vedder steelies next week.
