What are the chances of catching steelhead on the Fraser
Yes they can be taken over the next few months by float fishing them but it takes time where to find them. A boat will be an asset too.

Yes you can catch them on the Fraser .But your question is what are your chances , I would say very few and far in between . I've caught them before bar fishing years ago and seen a few others caught in the Fraser too , but that is not common . The ones I've seen , I would say were Thompson bound , never fished the Fraser this time of year when the winter runs are coming headed for the Chilliwack or Chehealis . Fraser is a very big body of water to cover , so if you are trying to get a fish that can be hard to find in the Chilliwack , which is so much smaller then the fraser , what's your chances of finding them in the big river ? I would say slim.

Well thank you for the replies. I have been reading everything I can find about Steel head fishing with no metion of any fishing for them on
the Fraser so I thought I would ask.
