Ok i know there are bass in mill lake... I went there and all i caught was weeds... very frustrating as i was geared to catch some bass... What is the best spot to catch bass at that lake?

First off, The ponds at Trinity are open to the public. Just make sure to check in with the security guys to let them know that you will be there fishing.
In Mill Lake, I have found the best place to go for Bass is on the shore close to the boat launch. If you are standing on the dock, look to the left, there is a small "Beach" or open spot about 50-80 yards from the dock. From there to the point heading away from the dock seems to be a good spot for Bass.
It is getting a bit on the cold side for Bass though, they are more than likely hanging down around the bottom sulking, so you may need to practically bump them in the nose with your Fly/Spoon/Bait.
Good Luck
