Title: "No Trespassing" on Dewdney dikes?
Post by: clarki on November 06, 2009, 05:34:30 PM
Saw a "No Tresspassing by order of D.A.I.D." sign on the dike in Dewdney today. I hadn't fished this spot for a few years so the signage was new to me. I wasn't sure what to make of it until I found this later lhttp://www.daid.ca/recreation.html (http://www.daid.ca/recreation.html)

Has anybody actually been busted for walking along the dike?

On another note I was a little creeped out by the nearby house that had severed deer heads on the fence posts. Not skulls. Not racks. Severed heads... (Play Twilight Zone music here)

No. Immediately adjacent to the bridge over the slough in Dewdney.

If it's for liability/insurance reasons, that means that you cannot sue them if you injure yourself while trespassing.  As long as they're not pressing charges for people walking through you should be okay.
