If anyone has a Bell satilite check check channel 419.
There is a month long free preview of the channel WFN.
Assume it stands for World Fishing Network.
Really like it so far as ya see a varity of really nice colorful fish plus clear water & lots of dif. boats & outboards & locations
As it's fall & with the shorter daylight (gets dark at 5pm) this is a good time to watch more tv fishing shows. :)

I have been enjoying this free preview. It seems they do it for a month every year.

I've had WFN for 2 years now and other than a few shows, It's mostly about bass, pike, walleye and more bass.
Precisely why I haven't subscribed.
-
I agree I have it as well lots of bass but there are a few shows that appeal to me about salmon and steelhead fishing but alot of the times the shows about salmon its saltwater stuff which is ok to watch once in a while but I would rather see river stuff.
-
I pvr the "New Fly Fisher" shows as it's all Canadian and Fly Max but that's it.
-
Had WFN on Shaw for a few years. Don't watch much bass programs much. But I like the fly shows, the salt water specials and really like the Australian ones. The Aussies seem to have a fishing paradise at their door for salt water species. Whatever happen to that Hunt guy's show (who kisses every fish he catches, LOL)? He was so funny but his shows were stopped. But too bad the shows are not HD on Shaw. Are they HD on satellite?

New Fly Fisher
Sport Fishing On The Fly
Nice Fish
Fly Max
Hooked with Mark Krupa
Wild Fly Fishing Series
Get Out with Shelly and Courtney ( I dont personally like them so much as I like the guides that take them out such as Brian Chan, Phil Rowley and Peter Morrison )
Those are the shows I watch and for the $3/month I pay for it I find its worth it.

not HD on my star choice

don't forget Boca Grand Pass
PTTS
Pro Tarpon Tour

Pro Tarpon Tour
The Pro Tarpon Tour IMO is one of the worst shows on. Its like the Vedder during peak season. Boats are almost side by side. Its very repetitive.
-
No way....Lunkerville and Beat Charlie Moore are by far the worst shows on WFN.
Nice Fish
Sportfishing BC
Legends on the Water
Fly Max(because of a friend)
Sportfishing on the Fly(Because it's BC)
Big Coast
FlatsClass
George Poveromo
Fishing Western Australia
Get Reel with Shelley and Courtney
I never said the worst ;) BTW the worst is the Carp Tournaments. Guys just sitting on a bank with long rods waiting for a bite while they chum the water. Rather watch paint dry...

There's another show called 'Inside Sportfishing' although it is usually show in the listings as 'Sportfishing'.
It's mostly deep sea stuff but there is some pretty good stuff on there.
