Title: Stave River, October 26th 2009
Post by: whereismyfloat on October 26, 2009, 08:54:57 PM: I got a few hours of casting in this afternoon. I got into about 7 or 8 fish. All but two I got in the lips. I was looking for some smokers today but all were a little on the dark side. A couple I guess I could have kept but I have tomorrow to try again for a cleaner fish. All with home tied jigs.

Post by: Jonny 5 on October 27, 2009, 07:26:35 PM: I fished the stave a while back, and can testify that those fish attack green wool with their tails... I must have seen about 85% "tail attacks" and about 10% headbutts )(or close-enough's as I heard them called). Those are truely mean dogs.
