Title: Stave, Norrish and Chehalis River, October 24th 2009
Post by: Aki on October 24, 2009, 07:37:58 PM
Visited all three flows over the last couple of days. Chehalis was full of debris as the water was dropping (yesterday). No fish to be seen. Stave was full of chum this morning, and full of fishermen. Norrish has lots of chum and the odd coho (but hard to find/see) and quite a few fishermen.

Took kids out for picnic and stopped by Norrish and Chehalis.  Chehalis vis is very good with a few chum here and there(main river).  Norrish still has no fish but in the slough below Hwy 7 bridge many fish jumping.

I spoke to a gentleman at the Chehalis and he said he saw a couple of Coho caught today. Said he wasn't getting any bites the past couple days out, but he heard that the natives had the nets out the other day.
