Title: Chilliwack River, October 1st 2009
Post by: Aki on October 01, 2009, 07:37:17 PM
Spent a few hours split between the lower and upper river. Still lots of pinks. Quite a few springs showing up and some coho in the lower river (saw a few on the beach). The rain has not helped the river yet; still low and clear. I hooked a few springs; some pinks; no cohos. However, I fished from mid morning to mid afternoon; all coho I saw had been caught early in the morning. Hope to go back on Sunday.

Your Right Aki the Bite started around 6:30 AM till 9:40 AM I'm at mid river.  Good thing My wife take a half day  going to work so I can fish early morning,  and I'm  eager to use my new CP,  I got lucky with a  10 lbs coho and a jack spring and saw a 38lbs marble spring that was landed this morning.
