Title: chums on the lower fraser

ive never fished the lower fraser for chums herd some peeps talking about it at work just wondering what you use and if you catch them in the same spots as you would pinks i know i could just go to the stave or chedder but i want to get some nice fresh ones 8 any hints or spot would be sweet with this rain they should be on the move tight lines folks  8)

Do a search of the forums and website. I am sure Rod has something about the chums. From what I recall. Bar fishing with roe in the lower Fraser should produce chum. Garry Point, Shady Island, Dump Bar (Behind Silvercity), Brownsville Bar, and Derby Reach would be a few spots that you would find guys targetting the chum to get you started.

I've caught them spin casting with lures from shore around the fort Langley area before. I was using larger Crocs in green and purple colours. It's possible to catch them from anywhere along the fraser you just have to put some time in.

Green lure is used by some to target chums on the lower Fraser. But it is not going to be a hot as pink fishing.. ;D
