So I have tried and tried and tried to catch Pink Salmon this season and have failed huge! I was wondering where in Fort Langley people where fishing and how to get there... I need to bring home a couple of those little guys before they are gone again for 2 more years. I have only had 4 hook up and the one fish I did manage to land was a beautiful Sock, so back it went...
So ya, where should I go???

Pink season so far has been fantastic. I have only fished at Derby Reach in Langley. Lots of room to fish and lots of fish close to shore. Need to wait for them to show or you will just be casting at empty water.
Most of my fish were taken casting slightly ahead of showing fish. Best times have been from low tide plus 2 hrs (incoming tide). It gets slow during slack tide. This week, things seem to be changing a bit and I caught fish when absolutely none were showing - don't know why.
Derby reach is easy to find - metro vancouver park

You guys are awesome thanks for the tips! :) Going to head out at first light tomorrow!

fish at derby have been further out in last couple of days, haven't seen any pulled in there despite many people fishing. There is a beach before derby where the fish are closer to shore. Saw afew caught there today at high tide. If your going at low tide I recomend duncun bar farther upriver at the end of river road. It's muddy so bring boots or waders, but worth it. At low tide the fish swim right past your feet due to a steep drop off.

I'm going to be heading out to get there around 6:30am and I do not have waders, but not afraid of getting my feet wet. High tide is around 8am I think. What would be the best location for high tide do you guys think?

You're a year and 11 months early! Its all over now for the next two years. All the fish are near dead and not worth fishing for. There are other salmon though, just not pinks.

That's fine by me. I'm just looking for a few more spots to try out. Right we mainly goto the Veddar. I live out in Langley
