Title: Chilliwack River, September 14th & 15th 2009
Post by: mr.p on September 15, 2009, 09:26:23 PM
Spent the last two days at the Vedder.  It is loaded with pinks and jack springs.  Lots of coho and adult springs too.  The firstlight and last light action was HOT!
Over the two days I managed to land about a dozen jack springs, 3 wild coho, several pinks and lost 5 or 6 BIG fish.
I focused on the lower and the canal.  Using natural and procure rue.  Both produced equally.
Water is low and clear.

I find that about half the jacks are reds or marbles. I normally only get 1 or 2 white jacks a year (if im getting lots of jacks that is) and yes even the odd big red or marble spring tossed in for good measure  ;D
