I've lived in Port Edward, just outside of Prince Rupert for 3 years. It really rains alot here. The fishing is great, but you need a boat, or access to one, unless you want to river fish in the Skeena, which requires about a 45 minute drive. When it does get sunny it is quite spectacular. Prince Rupert is in a depressed economy since the pulp mill at Port Ed shut down, and most everyone is waing for phase 2 of Fairview Terminals.

Mostly- people either love it or hate it.
