Just wondering if anyone knows whats going on with the Thompson River this year in regards to winter steelhead fishing ? I know last year it never opened , I have been searching the net and could not come across any notices regarding this . Thanks for any help !

--I know steelhead was a big draw for the thompson but don't count out native trout fishery.
--Often overlooked the native rainbow river trout are good size and will be found at most of the sites know for steelhead.
--These are river fish so they will give you a good fight pound for pound.
--also whitefish, single egg pattern fly or bottom bounce good results while salmon are spawning in the area.
