Title: Kitimat River, September 7th 2009
Post by: glx on September 07, 2009, 06:08:31 PM
Took a buddy out today who has never fished Coho and has only caught pinks earlier this year.  Well his first ever Coho was quite impressive, a 16 or so pound buck which was released followed by several fish from 5-13 pounds.  My biggest was around 15 pounds, also released with a numerous amount of fish up to 12 pounds or so.  All in all, we hooked over 14 fish, missed a few others.  Fish were taken float fishing roe and plug pulling hot shots.

Havent seen too many in town or on the river but they are around.  Unlike last year when you had to look out the window before taking the garbage out.
