Post by: Joefisherman on September 05, 2009, 11:08:30 AM
got 2 nice females this morning and seen other guys limit out  with males and females, morning fishing is nice. I can still go tonight because I don't have my limit today. went to another spot and checked the action after it died down  where I  was, and not as many fish for them, looking forward to tomorrow morning, oh there is always tonight ! hope it's better weather, today, still I'll enjoy it any way!!

The skunk is over!!!

Got up early and hit it. Was fishing by 6am. First good wave of fish came through and nothing. Than at 7:30 the biters came around and I got my first one. It dies shortly after but around 9am another fresh batch came in and I got 2 more. Tried and tried to limit out but it wasnt to be. Now I have the rest of the afternoon to do other things.

Way to go...bb2000 ..they are staying on the hook for ya now !!! Also congrads to others who are landing them. Guess I should leave the boat at home & fish from the shore. ( as Rod says the pinks can be caught close to shore) Well I've had my chances ....must of lost 5 -6 ...........plus a BIG FISH (Spring???) I'm hopefully going to land one soon. If not that's ok as let the poor "thing" reach it's goal.... spawning grounds. (ha) I kinda go by the idea "if it's meant to be it will happen"...as long as I'm trying my best !!!!! :) Possibly with all the new fresh water entering the system (from rains) will make them (pinks) into more of an aggressive biter(s) who knows...............

I was out this morning and limited out after onlt an hour and ten minutes, and my brother in law limited out shortly after that. It was a good day out there today. I hooked a total of 9 fish, landed 5 and kept 4. Gonna bring out the fly rod tomorrow i think.

Was out today as well and we killed them on the fly. Guppy will do up the report later but lets just say we had a really good afternoon. The fly of choice was Randy Morgans pink fly.

you should gut them before you get them home!

bleeding them and getting them on ice is crucial, guts can wait the 1-2 hours before I slice them up at home. Besides I butterfly fillet them so it makes it easier.

Hit the fraser after the capilano in the morning.

I got into several fish but only landed this nice female:
