Title: halibut in georgia strait
Post by: Verdi on August 17, 2009, 06:34:48 PM
Friend of mine were bottom fishing off gabriola island, on the weekend and for the first time they got halibut in good numbers.
They were fishing in 100-200 ft of water going for sole or flounder.

6 guys on the boat and 3 halibut caught. ranged in size for 20-40lbs.

Is this fluke or have other people notice the number of halis on the inside returning to catch-able number?
