Title: Furry Creek, August 13th 2009
Post by: Britguy on August 13, 2009, 09:22:36 PM
I was there today from just after first light
many that lightning was an awesome sight
I got pretty wet as it rained most of the time i was there (left at 2.30pm)
water was crystal clear
I hooked into fish pretty quick but the seal moved in and it slowed down
it was then very spotty I should have left earlier but wanted to see if any more fish would come in on the tide turn
did not happen
Did see a big spring with its tail and fin sticking out of the water cruising around out of casting distance :(

Got there at 4.30PM and it looked really slow. Talked to a couple of guys who fished most of the day and said there was very little action.
Just after 6PM when I had to leave, schools of pinks showed up and were holding on the south side of the point (by the golf course). I hooked one but it got off just before I was able to get a hand on it. Unfortunately I had to leave.
