Title: Furry Creek, August 9th 2009
Post by: capman on August 10, 2009, 12:06:51 PM
I was there on Sunday too and the fishing was very good in the early hours. Surprised to see that many people on the beach. :o  Good thing is that there are lots of beaches to have.

fished it from 4pm-8pm on the 9th and didn't see anyone hook up  :( I guess it's another early morning fishery

It can be for sure. Was there early yesterday and saw only two hookups out of maybe 30-40 guys :o. Its somewhat tide dependent also. Once the tide receded a bit there were a few more but not many, not sure how it was after 1pm.

also fished Sunday, 9th from 6PM to 8PM. Saw a few risers a little further out, nothing when the tide came up higher. I think one guy caught one on a fly from the beach south of the point.
will try an early morning this week....
