Title: Harisson Area
Post by: colin6101 on July 29, 2009, 12:26:56 AM
I just got back from a trip to Quadra Island and am now heading to Sasquatch Park to camp on Hicks Lake and was wondering if anyone has fished up there lately at any of the lakes and had some suggestions? Hopefully I have some pictures of fish again to share when I get back!

i've had luck with wedding bands and a worm, or even just a hook and worm, right around the islands....good luck!

Well fishing was really slow, caught a few small ones in Trout Lake and Deer lake. Nothing from Hicks but did swim around a lot and found quite a few lures and various tackle. Good way to cool down and refill the tackle box.

Yeah it was interesting to see what people were attempting to use haha. Found some nice lures and a a yellow fish that was tied to fishing line as well. Not sure what someone was attempting to do with that one?

the yellow fish is something that comes already attached to little kids rods (like a Dora rod)
