I just got back from a fishing trip to Kyukuot (northwest Vancouver Island) and the fishing is incredible! The very first evening that we went out we had 25 hits on the lines. 15 of them were coho and the other 10 were feeder springs. Of all the coho, only 1 of them was a hatchery, so we could only bonk one. The next 2 1/2 days were crazy with about 35 hits per day. I came home with my possession limit of springs, hali's, ling cod, sea bass, and rock fish. Best fishing trip that I have ever been on! For anyone who wants to do something like this, I would recommend Murphy's guided fishing. The price is about $1250 for 3 full days, which includes lodging, food, and guides. The little fishing village of Kyukuot is really neat to experience as well. There are sea otters, sea lions, bears, cougars and many other interesting animals to see. Anyways, its a nice break for a river fisherman who has had way too many skunked days lately (that's me).

$1250 based on how many people? I want to go for a trip with my brothers and my dad.

Based on 3 people per boat. If you are a bit short on one boat they will do their best to match people together to get the cost down.
