Look like brown color, anyone know why?
-
If you were out on an incoming tide anywhere near where the North and South arms of the Fraser dump into the ocean (high and dirty due to freshet) would be your explanation in combination with various blooms that occur in the summer time in our local waters, tight lines WS.

the dirty water from the fraser sometimes goes all the way to the gulf islands.
-
The ocean gets murky in the summer because algae blooms in the hot weather, that’s why its best to dive in the winter as you can see more then 10 feet in front of you unlike right now.

Sometimes the brown color is from the sewage plant from Iona (near airport) Gets eally bad if there is a long steady high tide & low winds. (TREATED cupcakes WASTE)
