Title: Lac Le Juene

I was just wondering if anyone would like to share any information on Lac Le Juene. I will be camping there starting next week and would like to know what would work as far as chucking feathers goes. I have a belly boat and would like to just float around and try my luck. There is also a lake next to it that looks very inviting. Any info would be appreciated.

If you are using a tube also give Walloper a try. It is the lake you pass by on the way to Lac Le Juene, right off the hwy. Lots of small ones and some big one also. As for Lac Le Juene, I will leave that up to someone else as I have yet to fish it. Have fun.

I was racking my brain trying to remember the name of the lake next to Lac Le Juene. Thanks for clarifying it. Any Ideas what flies would produce there.

Lac le Jeune is a beautiful lake, very clear at times.  It's also a fair size, so if the wind blows up, think about trying little Lac le Jeune (at the far end under the bridge).

I've had great luck there with pumpkinheads (kind of a damselfly nymph pattern), as well as chironomid and small olive leeches with a gold bead head.  It's gonna be hot hot hot up there, so be prepared (bring sunscreen) and make sure you have a sinking line in case the fish have gone deep to escape the heat of the sun.

try little lac lejeune as it is better on windy days and recieves less pressure.  i seem to catch a tad bigger fish in there as well.  (it is the lake on your right when ya cross the little bridge)

Fairly large lake, but you don't have to go to far from camp.

We stayed right in the weed beds just off the Prov.Campsite and did really well with Mico leeches in black with a silver beedhead and silver rib (6-10ft) under an indicator..Water is clear for good sight fishing. Anchor just out off the weed beds and toss.
