Going to the Kettle river to camp at the end of August. Was wondering if the fishing is good that time of year in the river and what would the fly of choice be. Any info would be great.............thanks

me and a buddy were there a few days ago just below beaverdale and caught a few suckers and one rainbow on leeches and drys

Drifted the stretch fro Kettle River campground to Rock Creek a couple of weeks ago. Spotted trout in many of the deeper runs. I didn't fish, but I think drifting the river and stopping at the various runs would be a nice way to do it. One spot just above rock creek theer was dozens of nice trout holding in the one pool.

I also floated the campgrond to rock creek two weeks ago and caught a few small fish. Not as big as last year
