Took my 2 sons out on Friday to the lower Vedder for some steelhead smolt/trout fishing. We had alot of fun and the kids were successful in removing many of the hatchery vermin smolts from the river for tonight's supper. No dry flies for us; worms from the compost pile were the ticket.
