Lickman Road- floating down. I think it is dangerous because a few of them doesn't have lifejacket on...

Darwin calls a few home every year from the Vedder. ;D

Awesome pictures.

I love tubing the Vedder.....
I wont even get started with the debates again this year... although I am sure some will come up eventually.
As long as you are careful and scout the river before you go, there shouldnt be too many problems.

Would have been out myself if I did no t have to work today. Great pics. Thanks

Saw 3 police cars, fire trucks and Search and Rescue heading towards the river today around 4 ish, all in a big hurry.

Where was it Chris?
I was out from like 12 till 4 and didnt see anything around Lickman Road area. Hopefully not the same log jam as last year, that thing is brutal.
I know everyone will get on my case for this....
It's their own stupid fault. Many people dont realize the power of the river.
MOST people out there have no idea what they are doing, they figure water will "carry them around" the log jam. Guess what, it doesn't.
We learn from our mistakes, some people don't get to. Maybe they should listen to people like me when I'm fishing warning them about something downstream.
Like I said, go prepared. I'm not too worried when I go because I know where everything is and get out well ahead of time.
Another problem is that people think slow water is easy to get out of, it really isn't at all. It has alot of power, which most fishermen know because of wading.
There is risk in everything that we do in life... just helps to take some caution and use some common sense.

It would just be nice to see them wearing life jackets.

Very nice pictures. I was hoping to make my first trip to the Vedder this weekend but alas won't be.
