Got out for the afternoon and had a bit of luck getting some brookies to come up and take a BWO.

My two best to date. ;D
Biff, if you are wondering, these came from that same beaver pond we fished last year, but all the little guys were gone for some reason.

Gorgeous colours on those fish. I am going to have to try for some in the near future.

Soooo jealous right now.... :o
Any cutty action?

No cutties or bulls... the river was pretty high and cold. Found another set of beaver ponds a lot bigger and a bit harder to get to that need to be expored. Let me know if you are down this way as I would hate to get eaten by a grizzly with no witnesses. ::)

Thats why you need to keep your bearspray on you at all times. I also find its helpful to have the safety disengaged for quick access.
On a more serious note, I'm chomping at the bit right now to make it down your way. Walleye, pike and goldeye have gotten stale.

I don't know about the safety off.... I know some guy that got himself sprayed with his own bear spray :P
Nice fish
