Title: How do you guys carry/store your rods?
Post by: Ben! on June 13, 2009, 12:47:53 AM
I usually just take the rod apart and use an elastic band and tie them together. But I saw this nifty looking carry case/bag at Army and Navy (http://www.shimanodealer.com/shimano_Rod%20Carrier.htm) and was wondering how you guys carry your rods around.

i use cases for my fly rods(ones i can leave the reel on) but for my gear rods i use rod wraps or seemless cloth elastics (for hair)

Yeah the one I saw at army and navy looks pretty cool and fairly cheap. I like how it comes with a rod wrap, a tip protector, and a shoulder strap. But I don't like how you can't take your rod apart though, its going to be too long to store in the car.

If someone has one or planning to get one, please let me know how it works out because I am really interested.

Thanks for the input guys!
