Title: cap river
Post by: rhino on June 10, 2009, 10:58:29 AM
hello all,

I was thinking of heading out to the cap saturday morning but was not sure if the water levels are high enough for this river with no rain recently. any info from someone who has seen the flow recently will be greatly appreciated!

Kind regards

there's a camera that you can use to check the water level

I fished it last night and it was really low if you look at the cam you would hope to see above the 2 foot mark to be fishable. IMO

thats odd isn't it? I dont know why they are like that. I get skunked in that pool all the time so I stopped trying that spot since last year.

the natives have the weirs up now, and there are boats and seals patrolling the mouth, i dont think its gonna be any good till we get a dump of rain.

I've been itching to get out to the Cap too, but I won't even bother until we get some serious rain.

Just drove over the bridge at the Hwy at 5:30 pm  today.  Water was really low.  Need a good rain or discharge from the dam.  Yea that cam is good make sure you check it out.
