Post by: HOOK on April 17, 2009, 05:24:17 PM
well my dad and i were out swinging the big sticks today (spey) and had a couple tugs and one landed (my dad) was his first ever on the spey rod.  ;D it was a hatchery and being the first of the year it was kept.

nice! it was a slow day out there with visibility hindering things in the mid to lower. I fished the upper for a little bit but had no luck

Flosser  ;D
Good job on the fish..... We were out today as well, missed one hit.
Vis up high was around 3 feet and down low was a meagre 8"-1' when we left at 6:30.

Should be beter tomorrow...
PS You don't need to place the hook in the tip of the nose when you take the pic  ;)

Not if you chuck flies.....
I would be saying that the season will be over pretty quick here if we get this hot weather, river already gettin up and dirty.
