Title: Cowichan Lake, Easter Weekend 2009

Fished creek mouths trolling plugs 3" tomics  on the surface we were rewarded with some nice cutties to 17" and one rainbow. Trolled super fast in tight to shore the hits were violent gotta love my new backyard Port Renfrew within an hour, Cowichan lake 2 min to launch Cowichan river 2 minutes away not to mention all the secret creeks and small rivers that hold steelies truly blessed to be on the island.One thing I miss is Sturgeon fishing but have boat will travel.
