Title: Lakes in the Fraser Valley to Fly Fish...
Post by: UFV_Poor_Fisher on April 02, 2009, 07:01:36 PM
So i have been fishing for many years now and am just starting to get into fly fishing for trout. This summer when not on the Vedder or the Fraser i am planning on fly fishing some of the lakes in the Fraser Valley...in particular around Chilliwack. Any suggestions on lakes that are particularly kind to beginner fly fishermen? I am planning on spending a good amount of time on Hicks Lake near Harrison. Is this a decent place to start?

Any info will help, Thanks.

Jones lake is a good one.It is high elevation lake, so in summer is cool to visit it. Nice cutts and rainbows to be caught.
