long time reader, not very regular poster. i work in a mining camp in the north of albania and live in vancouver, month on month off. the posts and discussions on this site always keep up the spirits in a country where fishing with explosives, chemicals and electricity are still very common. i have tried to discuss conservation with the locals, shown them my fly tying setup and tell them how we "catch and release" to preserve a species. all met with blank stares ???. so just a thanks to all the intelligent conversations out there and great attitudes towards a beautiful approach to sport. and the occasional meal. see you on the rivers soon.
