After work today went past a couple of small streams - not fishable. Went to another smaller stream and it was still in shape, unfortunately nothing for me. Then went over to a small slough walked it to where it dumps into a large river, managed to find a 14 inch bull trout. No sign of any fry....but soon.

No garbage, no others fishing, no hikers, no one! It was an all round good afternoon!

The fry are starting to show, saw a few a couple days ago.

That is great news! Have seen lots of Mergansers fishing around, but no fry spotted yet

Be careful where you are stepping when wading, otherwise you could be killing hundreds of those fry.
