Title: Tidal Fraser River, February 21st 2009

I tried to go for a hat trick today. Another one fell for the fly, which I'm going to name "Richmond Special" if it keeps happening. ;D

The small fish wasn't really the highlight. We had at least four risers in front of us today. Two small ones, possibly cutthroat trout. Two large boils, probably bull trout. Beside a tug that I felt after switching to a smaller fly, Carlo and I couldn't get them to commit. The fish were in 2 feet of water and I could have touched two of them with my rod tip when they surfaced.

What will tomorrow bring, beside rain? ;D
