I thought It is spring :o :o
-
Roe, #4 hook and 10 lb. leader.
36.5 " 20" girth
1.5 ft. of water.
Got the line under a rock, had to run the boat upriver, unhook the line and then continue the fight back downstream.

Fishing with Kevin from Murphy's

Beautiful fish, way to go :o
Hopefully one of those comes my way this year.
-
That's a fine looking specimen. Well done.
-
beauty, man!!! what part of the Stamp did you take that on? we were there last week and had a great time.
-
can't believe you landed that on a #4, I found that it is really tough to get leverage with a #4, although when the water is that low I guess you may not have a choice.
-
hey VEGAbond, is that 'eagle rock' between the bucket and the falls?
-
Have fished with Kevin in the "chuck".He pays attention to the details.Oh yea, nice freakin' chrome tank!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :o
-
I am pretty sure that pic is below the gun club. while I don't know what the water is like on the stamp now, when I was there jan 3rd, the water was really low and only the zodiac could get above the bucket. with minimal precip recently, I could see the bucket being impassable for murphy's heavier boats.
If that run is where I think it is, Kevin was sitting in it on Jan 2nd as we worked down stream with Sean.
-
It is below the gun club, around a couple of corners.
-
Is the boat perched on a rock there?
-
nice fish indeed. that is below the bucket, and yes, a lot of times they will drive the boat up against or just ontop of a rock to reduce current and give the boat a good resting place when still casting
-
Just below claybanks! What a beauty fish! Once in a lifetime! Thanks for sharing. It gives some hope in the seemingly hopeless winter over at the Stamp!
-
No wonder there are no fish in the Stamp, that one ate them....good for you and Kevin.
Awsome fish.
-
Really nice looking fish !!! One of these years I am going to have to get my butt over to the island to try for one of these brutes !!! again nice job

Fishing with Kevin on the stamp.
That guy is the best guide ever.
It is no wonder to see a fish like that on his boat.
