Title: Chilliwack River, January 25th 2009: Cold Day on the Vedder
Post by: Brothersage on January 25, 2009, 02:22:40 PM
Well My friend and I were out this morning and started off at Wilson rd. There were already a couple of guys fishing. We pounded the water back there pretty hard with no takers! We noticed a guy down river with a fish on and landed. Looked like it was a good 12 lbs or so. BONK!! Wind started to pick up really bad so we headed up river. Got into this one run and as we were walking in one guy with a nice 8-10 buck was walking out. Fish was caught on a roe sack in about 4 feet of water. Fished for a few more hours with nothing but cold hands! Water conditions were great! That was it for our day until next time! Good luck to all!!!

thanks for the report, it was extremely cold out there today, with wind making it very hard for a decent drift
